Welcome to Pilgrim Congregational Church

At the start of every Sunday morning service we say - Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey you are welcome here. You are a child of God and precious in God’s sight.

This sense of welcome is at the core of everything we believe and hold dear.

Beloved of God,This Sunday will be a busy day at Pilgrim Church! We will be celebrating Earth Day during worship, featuring a dramatic reading of The Lorax by Dr. Suess. Some of our after-school kids will be participating, and all other children are welcome to participate as well. Please be sure to pick up an excellent resource guide created by Barbara Prindle-Eaton and her daughter, Brooke Canada. It contains tips and resources for being a good steward of God’s creation.

Immediately following worship, we will have the Grand Opening and dedication of Lucie’s Cupboard which is located by the fence on the west side of the front lawn of the church. We hope that you’ll come out to support Lucie and this project. If you haven’t heard, Lucie is one of the students in the after-school program. Last year, as a first grader, she had the idea of making things (like food and other items) available for people in need. With the support and encouragement of the Missions Committee and later the endorsement of Church Council and Trustees, Lucie’s vision is finally being realized. Thanks to the Mill Store for providing the cupboard at cost to us, and Lucie’s family who painted it and added the roof. Lucie made the beautiful sign from driftwood, which will be mounted soon. Later in the afternoon (3pm) the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra will have the final concert of the season in the sanctuary.

In God’s love, Rev. Amie
